E-Government Gateway

What is the purpose of a registered device and how can I identify it?

How to register a device?

After enabling the two-factor authentication feature, when you attempt to log in to the e-Government Gateway mobile application for the first time, you will be asked whether you would like to define the device you are logging in from as your registered device. If you confirm, the device you are using will be saved for future logins.

Additionally, you can make your mobile device a registered device by following these steps in the mobile application: My Profile > Two-Factor Authentication > Registered Device Operations.

What is the purpose of a registered device?

When you log in to the e-Government Gateway mobile application from your registered device, you can log in using only your password without needing to receive an SMS, as part of two-factor authentication.

If you attempt to log in from another mobile device, after entering your password, a notification will be sent to your registered device. Once you respond to this notification, your login will be completed.

When you try to log in to your e-Government Gateway account through an internet browser, after entering your password, you can complete two-factor authentication using one of the following methods:

Approving the instant mobile notification sent to your registered device,

Approving through the “Mobile Approval” option in the login screen of the e-Government Gateway mobile application on your registered device,

Scanning the QR code for the login transaction through the “Login with QR Code” option in the login screen of the e-Government Gateway mobile application on your registered device.
