Do you have access to a device (mobile phone, tablet, etc.) with NFC (Near Field Communication) capability?
First, if you do not have the e-Government Portal mobile application on your NFC-enabled device, please download it. If you already have it, please ensure it is up to date. Then follow the steps below.
1. If verification is initiated via an internet browser (from the türkiye.gov.tr page);
• Log in to e-Devlet Kapısı with your password or via internet banking,
• On the Communication Options page, click the Verify with ID button (if you have a phone number verified with your ID and it is not up to date, use the Edit button to update your phone number, then click the Verify with ID button),
• After fulfilling the conditions on the page that opens, start the verification by entering your phone number,
• Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using the camera that opens in the Identity Verification menu on the e-Government Portal mobile application login page,
• Enter your identity information on the mobile application screens and continue,
• As described on the mobile application screen, touch your chip ID card to your phone and wait,
• Enter the verification code sent to your phone number in the relevant field on the screen and continue,
• Your ID and phone number verification process will be complete.
2. If verification is initiated via the e-Devlet Kapısı mobile application:
• Log in to the e-Devlet Kapısı mobile application on the device you will use for verification using your password,
• On the My Profile page, click the Edit My Information button, then click the Verify with ID button on the page that opens (if you have a phone number verified with your ID and it is not up to date, use the Edit button to update your phone number, then click the Verify with ID button),
• Review the information and continue, then enter your phone number,
• On the page that opens, enter your identity information in the relevant fields,
• As described on the screen, touch your chip ID card to your phone and wait,
• Enter the verification code sent to your phone number in the relevant field on the screen and continue,
• Your identity-based phone number verification process will be complete.
