You can cancel your e-Government Gateway password by personally applying at PTT directorates or authorized branches with a valid photo ID containing your Turkish Republic ID number. The same rules that apply to password issuance in cases of power of attorney or guardianship also apply to password cancellation.
You can also manage the access status of your e-Government Gateway account through nüfusmatik devices. To do this, use your new type chip Turkish ID card and successfully complete fingerprint verification on the nüfusmatik device. Then, from the “e-Government Gateway Transactions” menu, select “e-Government Gateway Account Settings”, and open the “Enable/Disable Access to e-Government Gateway Account” page to restrict or restore access to your account.
Note: Once you restrict access to your account, it can only be reopened via nüfusmatik kiosks. You cannot reopen it or obtain a new password using other methods such as e-signature, mobile signature, Turkish ID card, or internet banking.
